Creative Construction
In one phrase: “we can build almost anything”. We have met the demands of a wide variety of high profile clients over the years. Our projects have varied in scope from small one of fine art pieces to large scale Hollywood film sets and permanent furnishings and instalations in museums, high end resturants and spas.
Our team´s combined experience gives our clients the confidence to explore any possibility, no matter how ambitious or adventurous. We make it happen!

Film and Theater Sets
Since it was founded in 2008, The Workshop has built multiple sets a year. Ranging in scope from small local theater productions to large scale Hollywood filmsets and anything in-between.
Members of the team have worked in all art-department roles and have hundreds of years of experience between them.
The Workshop can service all of your Set Building needs.
Permanent Installations
Where interior design becomes fine art, The Workshop is Iceland´s premiere service partner. The Workshop team has honed its skill over the last two decades by contributing to restaurants, museums, spa's and other attractions where novelty, innovation and quality is king.
Corporate & Events
Working with event, lighting and advertisement companies, The workshop has a long history of building booths for tradeshows and custom pieces for galas and events.
The Workshop team will take pleasure from handling custom needs from scope to design to project management and delivery as well as teardown and storage or disposal.
The Details
Combining classically trained artists and crafts people with modern state of the art machinery and facilities, The Workshop is able to deliver custom pieces in microscopic detail in most materials.
Working with entertainment and commercial industry and fine art alike The workshop has contributed to building special effect arms and weaponry for closeups in award winning films and assisted renowned artists with fine art works displayed at the Venice biennale.

05. - SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability & Community Support
Iceland is a world leader in renewable energy. 100% of the electricity in Iceland´s electricity grid is produced from renewable sources. We at the workshop are doing our part to conserve energy and have renewed a large part of our vehicle fleet with electric vehicles.
The majority of our suppliers offer Swan Ecolabel certified products and we try our best to select these materials when possible.
We try to be frugal and practical with materials and give much of our leftover materials away to local artist and others who can utilize them in a productive way. Iceland also boasts of strict frameworks for recycling and we are proud of how adamant our team is to do their part.
